This short observational documentary displays the in's and out's of a small record store called Village Vinyl in Brookline, Boston. The film served as a representation of what the record store looked like right before they moved to a bigger location in Coolidge Corner.

In this short documentary, I interviewed two lovebirds, Noél and Andres, separately post their engagement to see what they had to say about each other and their relationship. It was emotional to say the least, and left them both in tears by the end.

This documentary acts as a visual representation of my (MJ) makeup skills, techniques and expertise. The goal behind this film was to take someone who never wears makeup, and is unfamiliar with the beauty community, and transform them through four different looks. Each makeup look gets more complex as the video progresses, illustrating the complexities and creativity behind the makeup industry. As a new makeup artist entering the industry, I hope that my work showcases the passion behind what I create, and portrays makeup and beauty as a form of expression.
